SOUR CREAM FROSTING
2 c Sugar
1 c Sour Cream
1 tsp Vanilla
combine) sour cream and sugar in a sauce pan and boil. the mix will be 232* when it's warm enough. (remove) from heat and let stand til the temp is 110*(beat) until creamy (add) vanilla and spread quickly.
CARAMEL SAUCE
1 c Brown Sugar
1/2 c Butter
2 Tbsp Flour
1 c Hot Water
heat) brown sugar and butter in a small sauce pan. (add) flour. (mix) well then easily pour in the hot water stirring the whole time
You must stir the whole time your adding the hot water. Be sure to do so cause it can burn very easily
CREAM CHESSE ICING
1 8oz pkg Cream Cheese softened
1/2 c Butter softened
1 tsp Vanilla
1 lb Confection Sugar
cream together) cream cheese & butter. (beat) in vanilla & confection sugar until of spreading consistency
BUTTER CREAM ICING
1/2 c solid Veg Shortening
1/2 c Butter or Margarine
1 tsp clear Vanilla Extract
4 c sifted Confection Sugar
2 Tbsp Milk
Cream) together Butter and Shortening w/electric mixer (Add) Vanilla Extract (Gradually) add Sugar 1 c at a time til mix appear dry (Add) Milk until light and fluffy (Keep) Icing covered w/ a damp cloth til ready to use.(after use) Keep in refrigerator in air tight container. Preferable an old Icing cup.
REWHIP BEFORE USING AGAIN
DARK CHOCOLATE
2 2/3 c Confection Sugar
3/4 c Cocoa Powder
6 Tbsp Butter or Margarine
5 to 6 Tbsp Milk
1 tsp Vanilla
Combine) Confection Sugar and Cocoa in a small bowl (Cream) Butter w/1/2 Cocoa mix in a small bowl. (Alternately) add remaining mix and Milk (Beat) until a spreading consistency(Stir) in Vanilla
HOMEMADE ICING
1/2 c Confection Sugar
2 Tbsp Butter or Margarine
Add Vanilla to taste
Microwave to desire consistency
CARAMEL GLAZE
1 c Sugar
1/2 c Buttermilk
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Corn Syrup
1/2 c Butter
1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
Combine) all ingredients (Boil) in a sauce pan for 10 mins (Serve) Warm over Ice Cream or Cake
MICROWAVE HOT FUDGE
1/2 c Sugar
3 Tbsp Cocoa
1 1/2 Tbsp Corn Starch
Dash of Salt
1/2 c Water
2 Tbsp Butter
1 tsp Vanilla
Mix) together dry ingredients in 1 Qt casserole Dish (Stir) in Water (Cook) in Microwave on full power for about 1 1/2 mins.(Stir) halfway through cooking (Blend) in Butter (Cool) for 30 secs (Blend) in Vanilla
Pour over Ice Cream or Cake |
